Privacy policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
This is an English version of our French policy. Version française.
Who we are
The refexco.com website is operated by 9296-6514 Québec inc., doing business as REFEXCO. This policy explains what personal information we collect through the website, why, and what your rights are, under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector.
Person in charge of protecting personal information
The person with the highest authority in the company acts as the person in charge of protecting personal information. To reach them, write to us through the website form with “Privacy” in your message, or call 438-700-3926.
Information we collect
When you fill out a form: your name, company name, phone number, email, project address, type of building, the work you have in mind, your budget and timeline if you give them, your message and any photos you choose to attach. The grant tool runs in your browser: your answers are sent to us only if you submit a request.
Why we use it
To answer your request, prepare a visit or a quote, check the grant programs that might apply and follow up on your project. If you check the box, we may also send you news (grant programs, tips). You can withdraw that consent at any time, using the unsubscribe link in each message or by writing to us.
Where it is kept
Requests are stored in our customer relationship management tool (GoHighLevel). Attached photos are kept by our web host (Vercel) at an address that cannot be guessed. These providers may host data outside Québec; we chose them for their security measures and only allow them to use your information to provide their services to us.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as needed to handle your request and follow up on the work, then for the period required by tax and commercial laws. Photos are deleted when the project is closed.
Cookies and audience measurement
The website uses no advertising cookies and no tracking tools. If an audience measurement tool is added, it will only be turned on with your consent, and this policy will be updated.
Your rights
You can ask to access your information, have it corrected or deleted, and withdraw your consent. We reply within 30 days. You can also file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec.
Confidentiality incidents
If an incident presenting a risk of serious injury occurs, we notify the people concerned and the Commission d'accès à l'information, as the law requires.
