Automatic door openers and door automation
REFEXCO installs and maintains automatic doors for businesses, buildings, public places and homes: operators, touchless controls, access control and electric locks. Whether the goal is accessibility, traffic or security, we start from how the door is used.
Everything that makes a door move.
Brands and models are chosen for your door, your climate and your traffic. REFEXCO is not the exclusive dealer of any manufacturer.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a low-energy door and a full-power door?
A low-energy door opens more slowly and with less force, and suits entrances where people press a button. A full-power door opens quickly as people approach, with safety sensors; it suits very busy entrances. Each follows its own ANSI/BHMA standard.
Can a house door be automated?
Yes. A residential front door can be fitted with an opener, controlled by a button, a remote or access control.
Do you service automatic doors that are already installed?
Yes: preventive maintenance, adjustments, repairs and inspections, including on installations REFEXCO did not put in, depending on parts availability.
Can an exit door be automated?
Often, but it must keep its exit function and, where applicable, its fire-door function. We check the code requirements before proposing an operator or an electric lock.
A door to automate?
Send a photo of the door from both sides. We'll tell you which operator fits and what is needed for the electrical work.
